Accessibility Statement #

Accessibility (for simplicity a11y) is important, which is wh this website aims to meet the current highest webstandards and comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

WCAG is a set of requirements for the a11y of web content. It defines three levels of conformance: levels A, AA and AAA. This website aims to be fully compliant with WCAG 2.2 Level AAA, which at the time of writing is the most stringent set of requirements.

This site follows the philosophy that sometimes simple is better. It doesn’t use any JavaScript, complex HTML structures or less supported CSS features.

Sadly, not all services hosted on subdomains meet the same level of a11y standards, and I don’t have enough spare time to contribute to all the projects. I also don’t have the time to do extensive testing with different browsers or screen readers to check compatibility. If you find anything on my pages that isn’t accessible with your browser, screen reader or similar, please contact me via one of the methods listed in the section “I’m here” on the about page.
